The NDIS commenced here in the ACT in July 2014 and is now running at full scheme, which means that everyone who was receiving services government funded disability services prior to the NDIS has transitioned and now has an individualised NDIS Plan.

The NDIS in Canberra covers specialist disability services, aids and equipment, and home and community care in one individual support package.

Support services such as health, housing, education, aged care that are provided by mainstream providers are not likely to be covered by an NDIS.
